With the novel coronavirus being declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization, the world seems to have gone into panic mode and everyone is fearful.
While there is cause for concern, and we need to take the necessary precautions to protect those who are vulnerable, as Christians we are reminded that our God is always in control. He is sovereign (Ps 97:9), He has not given us a spirit of fear (2 Tim 1:7) and even when our faith wavers, He is ALWAYS faithful (2 Tim 2:13).
Here are 17 powerful scriptures to calm your fears about the coronavirus. Memorize them; mutter them to yourselves when you wake up… and when you go to bed; create a new song from them; stick them by your front door.
Do whatever you have to do to remind yourself that our God has the whole world in His hands and you don’t have to worry.
